This website is a single page about our company. It has no user accounts, no contact form, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. We do not track you, and we do not build profiles. The images, stylesheet and typeface are all served from our own domain, so opening the page does not contact any third party.

Server log files
When you open a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data that our hosting provider records in a log file: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the site and to keep it secure and stable. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website. These logs are retained only briefly by the provider, are not merged with other data, and are not used to identify you.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, which acts as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Because the provider is based in the USA, personal data may be transferred there; the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you write to hello@brokenladderlabs.com, we process your message and your address in order to reply. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to answer you and to meet statutory retention periods, then delete it.

This page links to deadmanreef.com. That is a separate service with its own privacy policy, and this one does not apply there. No data is passed to it until you follow the link yourself.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, write to the address above.
